In October 2023, Theresa was elected District Leader by the County Committee 69 AD, Part A, to fill the vacancy left by Cynthia Doty's untimely passing. She is currently running for a full term as the Three Parks Dems Female District Leader in the June primary and humbly asks for your support.
Theresa joined Three Parks Dems after volunteering for Bill Clinton's Presidential campaign in 1992. During her more than 30 continuous years as a member, she has been privileged to serve the membership as an officer of the club for 27 years, including as President, first and second Vice President, Treasurer, and also elected Judicial Delegate and volunteer picnic coordinator. She has shown a demonstrated commitment to Three Parks and has played an active role in making the club a more visible presence in New York County politics.
In the last twenty years, her professional work has centered around campaign consulting, both electoral and judicial, political and non-profit fundraising, and event planning. Currently, Theresa works as an Election Monitor and Lead Trainer for the Board of Elections and will continue to do her part to ensure that we have fair, impartial, and accessible elections for all eligible voters in Manhattan.
Just as importantly, she will prioritize the best interests of Three Parks Democrats and issues affecting the quality of life of our Upper West Side community, including preserving and building affordable housing, giving voice to progressive causes, protecting the most vulnerable among us, and supporting candidates with ability and integrity.
