Activities include:
- Organizing forums for neighborhood residents to hear from candidates running for public office.
- Registering thousands of new voters and informing West Side residents about issues facing our community.
- Advocating for rent regulations: affordable housing, tenants' rights, public education and contextual zoning.
- Organizing against harmful budget cuts in social services proposed by the City, state and national leadership.
- Working with community and statewide groups on health care, environmental, energy, and public safety issues.

Meetings
Club meetings are held at the American Youth Hostel at 891 Amsterdam Avenue (between 103rd & 104th Streets) at 8:00 p.m. on the second Wednesday of every month.
Public meetings regularly feature informed speakers and local elected officials who discuss the critical issues facing the West Side, New York City, New York State and the nation. Our Club meetings also serve as an informal place to meet other people interested in good government and dedicated to rebuilding a strong, progressive Democratic party.
